Your Loss

He doesn't see it now
he may not see it for
months, or years
it would be a tragedy if he never saw
what he lost.
He lost love
pure and unfettered
lust that curled from pelvis
to the furthest outreaches of my body
and was slaked by only his touch,
He lost faith in the future
hope for the present,
he lost joy and admiration
adoration,
he lsot my tenderness, my dreaminess,
my fancy and fantasy.
No moe will he run his fingers
his lips and tongue
over the skin he called
the silkiest he had ever touched.
He lost everything
that I had built him up to be
and he lost me.
