It isn't the feelings you feel anymore It's the "memory" of those feelings. There is a difference. It's like watching the making of a movie - "live" or simply watching an old re-run. Those feelings - which have long died are lying dormant somewhere deep in your soul. Those feelings have been safely buried deeply entombed But all it takes is a special song, a movie that you shared a familiar fragrance, the place where you met, the mention of their name. the sound of their voice, or one kind word from their lips. Suddenly you are flooded with old feelings that you don't really feel anymore But your memory does. |
