do you know that sometimes 
i just hold onto them
and just cry
because they won't tell
and they don't fully understand
and they give me 
that look of confusion
but, i hear and i've read 
that it's good 
for your children to see 
you're true feelings 
so they learn reality
instead of a fairytale
i don't do it often
but, sometimes, 
i just hold them
and hug them 
and the tears fall
and i yell out and then 
the moment passes
as if it never happened
