the imagination within a child
can make you stop in your tracks,
make your heart skip a beat,
cause the need to catch your breath
children are truly beautiful
within their innocence
pretending and imitating with creativity
the accomplishment 
of an easy task for an adult
such as washing their hands
or helping empty the dishwasher
the simplicity brings them such joy
... if only all of ours souls
could remain like that of a child
everyday would be a novelty
