Dear Anne: I've been listening so intently to the thoughts you've been scribbling onto my pages. I've felt your anguish so many times as you've pressed the pen down so hard, feeling as though I've been stabbed. I know how upset and scared you've been of those Nazi's finding you and your family. I'm scared too. If we lose and they do find you, hopefully, they won't take a second glance at me so I can tell the world your story.
