"Let's just find a happy medium, okay?" It's so hard to talk to you when you look at me like that. "Don't hate me, but don't love me either." Your eyes close slightly, how they do when your mind is fighting with your heart. "But I do. Love you." It's getting worse now - my eyes have locked with yours and I have to blink to break the closeness of it all. "No." When my eyes open you are still there just as close as before. "But I do." Shhhh. |
