| Loneliness,heartache,two simple words, one of which I,m not even sure is in the dictionary.If like myself we have a scar or are losing our hair these things are visible to others,these things are known in advance, what you see is what you get.Loneliness and heartache now these are things we don,t see,can,t see.We work hard to conceal this from others, we create false personas,lifestyles we don,t have, friends we never see.I know because I am guilty of this, I,m an intelligent person,good job,great workmates but it,s not enough.Lifes tingles have gone,we need tingles,we need the touch of a hand,the sound of someone laughing with us,arms around us at night.When someone new comes into our life we have no idea what to do,loneliness is sorted but the heartache is still there, we still want who we can,t have and we aren,t sure the someone new is what we want.Sadly the someone new doesn,t get treated the way they should and can,t understand why because they can,t see the aching heart.Shame..... I miss the tingles. |
