we barely communicate because that's how you want it but i think of you everyday do you think it's easy for me to act like i'm not breaking when what you are asking is for me to disconnect from you? i crumple the letters that i want to send i swallow the i love yous that i want to say can i drown my heart's whispered poetry at the mention of your name? or unteach my mind not to skip to the music of your memories? you think it's easy to fight off what i feel how do you expect me to not love you when i do? |
