would you smile for me i think to myself as i touch this almost forgotten strand of wind blown hair curled jus so round bout my finger tip in this hazy early morning light will you smile as you wake i wonder now as i lie un-asleep from these rigors of night sweat came and now long gone as i lie here beside counting breaths so very light of this angel with me so right and i remember your need as only you started this just to satisfy mine i don't think you knew when the light from the stars turned so very real as they twinkled in tune to your heart as the earth vibrated in rhythm with this one you held so deep inside as your need took you over on a roller coaster ride it would seem from this little blood shed of mine and i laugh so very soft for i still see some of me under the nails of thine for you were in need so very much so and i wonder will you smile for me when at last you wake |
