When I close my eyes let me tell you what I see: the most important person that means everything to me. the first thing I see is your beautiful face. I remember it to the smallest detail even from this distant place. I remember the softness of your lips while holding you closely by your hips. I remember holding you in my arms protecting you from this world's harms. I remember before I left the pain in your eyes. The hardest thing I had to do was wipe the tears that you cried. Though we have had to suffer through separation and pain; We had everything to lose but will have everything to gain. I want to tell you something I can no longer hide: I can't thank you enough for always being at my side. Starting right now and for the rest of my days, I will cherish you with my whole heart and I will love you always. |
