A New Road In the deep cavern of my heart A place where few travelled I am strong and secure My memory of love and passion Lives there quietly and softly Like a warm summer's breeze That slices the evening air This is where my new road begins And as I ponder and plow The very next steps of my existence I have crossed that wonderful bridge of hope Knowing that I can and I will On lonely nights of worry and fret I go there often to settle down With the comfort of my feelings Surrounding me like a child's blanket It is so safe here yet I cannot stay for long Tomorrow like today is full of the possible To take life to the next level And win in my mind and of course My heart the precious place I have Tomorrow I will lead the way I will find the new road |
