The Peak Maybe when I see you Standing quietly in the sun The warm glow of life Drenching your body I will remember And if I do remember Does it really matter That such a lasting impression Of one little widow's peak Placed so proudly on your brow Should stay indelibly marked inside me Yes it does matter Why because it is not the only memory Not the only place I would recognize as beautiful So different and so sweet And like the little peak Embraced around someone who is making her mark On the edge of success Travelling this very special adventure Up the mountains of life I will see you at the summit |
