For years I've longed to be with you. I've plotted, strategized, and nit picked every single insignificant detail. It had to be perfect, the timing just right; It had to be dramatic;something that would take your breath away. And then....when the time came... you introduced me to him. The guy who sneaked in just beneath me; the guy who was just one step ahead of me and one minute ahead of schedule.... and I couldn't be happier for you. I'm glad you found someone who was a better candidate than me. The one least likely, but the one most suited. Perhaps I shouldn't have waited. Maybe I shouldn't have plotted. Could be that drama isn't the key. Hopefully, I'll learn. |
