I ran away from my life I ran to the airport and on to a plane I ran all the way to New York I even stayed for 4 days I took a train I took the subway I even took a few buses On the days it rained I went Uptown Downtown And SoHo too Took pictures with the Naked Cowboy Bought some earrings on 5th avenue too And while i was gone I never would of guessed You were so confussed about my departure Even questioning my friends about my quest On the plane home I stared out the window and smiled Cause i know you missed me and worried Even though you havent loved me in awhile |
