Who stands in the confidence of His faith...? A father is looked upon as the solid rock, the foundation,the protector..the leader..the one who operates in authority and can make sound decisions. He looks after the interest of His children...He trains and guides their footsteps unto the right path to eternal life... In Him our confidence lies, for we trust that he knows his purpose and that we can be safe. I express gratitude for the opportunity to have such a father, though at times it may seem that wisdom has fallen on deaf ears and not taken root, but I've learnt to appreciate good counsel... God has shapen us in His image and the character we foster, stems from the upbringing that we had, the principles we adhered to and the choices we made in life...for surely our fruits shall be manifested with time. What seed that has been planted, shall bear fruit of it's kind... A father teaches His child by the Word that He lives by... So this day I want to honour my Father and thank Him for all He's done in my life... I need you and I love you... as your daughter I welcome the thought of building a relationship with a person liken unto you...with the attributes or qualities that you possess...for you are the fitting example that should be portrayed in a man... Thank you dad... have a HAPPY FATHERS' DAY!!! |
