In silence unaware you entered my heart my scarlet cathedral through a small crack in my stained-glass window softly slowly a word or two at a time so as to not disturb the rhythm of the blood coursing through it You entered in-between heartbeats thinking I would not sense your presence or your heartfelt intentions oh, but I did.... and my mind lingers on the very moment I realized that you have taken residence deep within my strongest organ My cathedral chimes rang with joy as strong as a bolt of thunder yet as silently as dew arrives How could you think I would not notice as my heart skipped a beat forever altering it's rhythm Jmt (c) 2005 |
