We sometimes doubt destiny For one minute we know it all But in the blink of an eye We are like rocks in freefall We are taken on a twisty ride In which destiny is the outcome For the path in life we choose Creates who we are to become It is like a rollercoaster With life's ups and downs One minute we are smiling Yet the next minute we frown But life has been changing Making me smile more and more No longer is life tiring Or waking up as a chore To look forward to that moment When I see your lovely face Butterflies flutter in our stomachs And my heart begins to race I now look to the sky in awe Looking for one of God's Dove Wondering after all I seen and done How I got this chance at love So I am forever grateful For having this opportunity To meet someone amazing As I walk this path called destiny |
