Sometimes there are moments when nothing makes sense and life stands still. All of the emotions and frictional relationships melt, leaving you to blindly ponder the meaningless. Isn't that what it always comes down to... the meaningless? You look at yourself and realize you don't know who you are anymore ...and still don't have the drive to search harder. All that is left is a faint reminder of who you used to be in a reverberating shadow on the ground. You can stare and stare but the darkened image will never reveal more than a hollow nothing carved through the cement sidewalk. And when that moment passes you by? What's left but to turn and walk away... |
