Sometimes we got so lost in the idea of love that we lose sense of who we are. I will never tell you that you complete me. I will never say that you fill a void inside of me. If I did, then I don't deserve to love you. I come to you as a complete person- no holes, no empty spaces. I don't have half a heart with half the capacity to love. Only I can complete myself. Only I can define who I am. Then I can love, with my heart and my mind and with open eyes. I choose you not because we are two pieces of a puzzle, but because we are two works of art, that is beautiful both seperately and together. I may be able to live without you, but the difference between us and the rest of the world is that I simply choose not to. You are my CHOICE. You did not come into my life to save me or to- God forbid- complete me. You came into my life to simply love me. I love you because of that. |
