| where OH WHERE has the time gone. 10 year reunion is this saturday. and of course all the lovely superficiality of getting ready before then. getting hair cut, most likely dying hair. shopping for potentially another outfit out of the how many i've purchased in the last few weeks that just don't "feel right". making my othewise reflectively white legs appear to be tan with the help of banana boat or other self tanning product. wondering if it's worth wearing a pair of heals for the evening in order to appear 1. taller 2. gorgeous. hoping that the one who got away feels jealous while he's staring at his wife who cheated on him vs me. and then walking away while flipping my rather short hair that doesn't want to flip. dashing said fairytale fantasies to the curb because i am on new forgiveness kick. forgive him for choosing him lying cheating wife instead of me. remind self that now have fabulous husband who loves self to pieces! pretend that my calves are lovely muscular creations instead of stumps attached to my upper torso. smile and nod, rinse repeat. |
