A KISS
By Sarah Elizabeth Hume
A kiss does dwell upon the skin,
so purely,
so softly,
until is seeps deeply within the supple cloth,
like warm summer rain melting into river water.
It lies there like a whispered secret,
gentle and warming as a candle's glow.
So sweetly your gift did come to me
with open hand
so sweetly mine shall return to you
with open heart... |
