Step right in to this thing we have, this thing that has us. I trust you'll want to stay a while - a lifetime or two (and that's before we become Hindus - it's true). No passport required, you'll have to walk every step of the way but you won't get tired (naturally no shots - we're open to it all; we burn on all available watts), and the views will be new, so new, yet like the home you reach almost too late. (This destiny of ours has nothing to do with fate.) And look right here - the order on it reads, "Do Not Resuscitate," which means no life support here, which means bury it far out in the desert, which means pile the rocks high (to discourage the coyotes, you know) so we can get busy down below with some subterranean celebration (and start planning our next incarnation.) |
