It's that most wonderful time of the year again! I love the holiday season....it inspires me..... to be cheerier....to get more done....I love to go shopping and see all the stores decorated. I love to listen to the Christmas music filtering through the speakers in the ceiling while I pick out stocking stuffers and gifts for my loved ones. I love to wrap up those beautiful presents with such love in my heart. I love to create a beautiful holiday atmosphere within my home and to see those lovely lights glow. I love the smile it puts on my face as my little ones put those sentimental ornaments on the tree....all hanging in the same little area....3 on one branch...all down low....because their little fingers can't reach too high on the tree....and....the best part, the star!....at last....the star!! and the tree is complete. I love to see the anticipation in my children's faces as they eat the chocolate piece out of the calendar as they count down the days to Santa. My soul dances as I listen to them go on and on in Santa's ear while sitting on his lap after waiting on the endless line in the mall....and....there's nothing greater than having them wake me and my hubby so early in the morning that it's still dark outside to open gifts left by Jolly Old St. Nick and to see the excitement on their faces to know that Santa finished the cookies and milk they left for him. I can't wait!!!! |
