You are asleep now in my room And I sit here thinking how blessed I am. You are the mountains, rivers, trees, and wind You are what I've longed for, deep within. And your faults are not visible to me, for now I know one day they will be, life is not this easy. That easy. But I'm not ready to let go of this dream, just yet. Call me a fool. Go ahead. I probably am one. But I choose to live in the absence of fear. A conscious choice, a foolish choice (sure). But life is short And there's plenty of time for fetal For all those primal screams in the shower At the end of this. Right? I'm keepin' this glow for now, thanks. My smile is enjoying itself today.
