you say beautiful and i question it. you wonder why i don't see myself the way you do, and you wish that i did. what light shines on me that you see this. this. i don't know what this is. you have been the only one to see it, to want to be in it, love it, shine it, all of it all the time. and you hold me in the morning with your eyes. hold me closer than any arms before yours dared. it's in my tears the truth falls away the quickest, because underneath it is nothing left but fear. it's not that i don't trust you because my heart is yours. but somewhere in the inbetween i forgot what came before. before. i don't know what before this is. nothing seems to have existed before you. some phase, some shade, some weird anamoly. but you are all i see. all i see. |
