Untitled

  I leave this world
   as my eyes close
where the ocean and sky meet in perfect symmetry.
My hair is cloaked in pinks and gold
and vanilla waves whisper and beckon to me.

And in my dream I am one
with all that I am and all that I see.
  Your smile is eternal,
  your eyes are velvet pools,
your touch as smooth as black tahitian pearls.

It's only when the day falls
over the ebony blanket sewn with cold silver stars
  that I find myself realizing
you are not next to me
and the air is pungent and sickly with real life again.

  Let me live and breathe
in the spaces and cracks where black holes dwell
and time is an imaginary thought,
let my eyes be cast forever with silver flame
and my hair the deep veil of vanilla that graces heaven.

Or else how can I continue to live and breath,
for this murky grave is worse than any death,
and these ivory bones swimming pools of rich wine
   confine me to emptiness.

How I wish you could save me,
  and comfort me,
hold me when all seems so lost and bleak,
  but you shall not listen
  for you are not there
to calm salted rain from this endless storm's peak...
