I'm trying to keep a good perspective, I really am. Just when life seemed less complicated--all of a sudden BAM! After years of unspoken words we collided in that empty hall. Clearly you seemed dismayed to find me standing there at all. I had prayed for many years that God would make our surprise meeting happen, The moment our bodies and eyes met, I bet God was up there laughin'. I believe God has a sense of humor and He knows how I love surprises, And He reminded me on that Christmas Eve that He was with me during my family crisis. You certainly had your work cut out for you because there were worst traumas than ours, One by one my family gathered while you led prayers to our greater power. We put our differences aside because my family crisis wasn't about us, While all along, my family and I appreciated your care and concern so very much. |
