Short Ode to Apollo

if I take this brain and heart and forge
from them a sharpened dart,
and take that dart and aim it well
and stick it through one bosom's bell
will they, my body's parts survive
and still be true another day
or is this brain and heart I ride
more like the sun than like a dart
me thinks their rays of joy for all
feels done
and can't conceive of place to run.

Would they penetrate content
and expose their sharpness to consent
or would they rust and feel somehow
the bending of a bad wrought plow
and would that rust and wilted shape
corrupt the bosom they have staked

I know nothing seems to be,
but what I feel is all of me
