| This morning we all woke up in a variety of conditions,some in love,some love lost,some prospecting,some newly invested.Lets be honest it,s the "one that got away" that has brought us all here.When I read Laura writing about a gathering of "got aways" I had to pen this.Let me start by me saying I was a GA survivor after 20 years of pointless waiting,stalking,drinking,tears,loneliness.It comes down to basics for whatever reason they don,t love us anymore and nothing we can do will change that.I got back together with her for a short while but it was just not there anymore and we called it a day.After that I stupidly measured everyone else against her and as a result lost a really lovely person.For some going back may work and if so that,s great but mostly it doesn,t work.As Laura stated she doesn,t want to look into those eyes herself 15 years down the line,I saw those eyes in my mirror for too many years,none of us should. |
