In an unbiased truth The end result is What truly is Not what we wish it to be The truth hurts Only to liars Lying to themselves Lying to the world We all know What your truth is It is a lonely life Masked in fantasy Riding the coat tails To fame’s top floor Has not worked for you So keep up the façade When you come home Hopefully humbled by Disappointment’s bitter taste Maybe then you will admit it You are alone And life is not fair Not even to those Who lie about it |
