They take you for granted and then they want you back. How typical of men to do that. The problem is that by the time they want you back you would’ve already emotionally moved on from all the sweet talk and the mind games. They don’t take your threats seriously, they assume you are bluffing so they never even bother to do that one little tiny step to improve and work on the current situation, but instead they decide it is time for them to start acting like teenagers again. We watch them, anticipating for a miracle but truth be told, boys will be boys and men will not descend or take part in that kind of behavior. I am sure I am not the only woman fed up of love games, of being led on by childish boys, and of having my heart broken this many times for just believing that people can actually change. When it comes down to it, I need to put myself first, I need to sort my priorities straight again. I have let myself go one too many times for this person who claims to love me. I have let myself go so much that I forgot how it is to love myself. It stops today. |
