On my usual morning walk I noticed a puzzle piece. Given my propensity for administering emotion to inanimate objects, I felt immensely sad for this puzzle piece. Why did this piece get kicked to the curb? Why is this piece so undeserving? It must be so lonely and feel so useless without the rest of the puzzle. After all, what good is a single puzzle piece? Needless to say, I could relate. |
