Bed Time Story

A beautiful child

sits and listens.

She twiddles her thumbs,

and her smile glistens.

Her mother is telling her

a story about love.

About how two peoples feelings

lifted them above.

The child falls asleep 

as the story comes to an end.

She wonders what kind of helpful things

to the couple she could lend.

The childs mother tucks 

her daughter in.

She can't wait to tell her child a

bed time story once again.
