I want to love you all the days of my life

with your head on my chest

and my hands caressing your skin

my arms enfolding you in warmth and safety

my heart beating in time with yours

my eyes gazing longingly at your beauty

your inner radiance bathing me in its glow.



Our breath mingling in the air

to make a sweet intoxicating scent

and our lips touching oh so gently

a fervent passion below the surface.



Your eyes looking lovingly into mine

as I drown in their depths so clear

only you can revive me with a word.



In the velvet silence of the night

I want to feel your arms around me

holding me close to your heart.



And as I hold you with love and emotion

The cold grey winds of gloom

Are to us just cool sea breezes
