Standing in Darkness

They were two souls
Meant for each other
Standing in darkness
Without one another

There minds think in sequence 
There hearts beat in time
Alone in this darkness
Her heart and mine

They meet in the darkness
He reaches ahead
He kiss’s her softly 
As time stops dead

As the darkness lifts
He holds her tight
Her beauty radiates 
In this new found light

Our love will grow on
