Missing You

You I hold in my heart so dear,
But the thought of you brings a tear.

For I know our "truelove" will never be,
Without you I'm missing a part of me.

When we were little we had so much fun,
But then we got big and that fun was done.

Something happened along the way,
You no longer wanted to stay.

Please don't make me say good-bye.
Please don't make me ask myself why, oh, why?

Why couldn't our love make it through?
Why can't I be with you?
Why did our friendship vanish like the night?
Why won't it come back like the morning light?

Now I've got to go,
But before I do,
I just want to say,
That I will always love you.
