Upon a time there entered my life,
He wasn't a brother nor buddy in strife,
Yet many a moment of gracious conversation,
there promptly surfaced a thought, a premonition.

Here is a man like no other,
He has love in his heart, for all man and his brother
He lives life in turmoil,
yet he has inner peace.
It takes quite a man to perform such a feat.

He love life and lives love,
and he longs but for the same.
As far as I'm concerned,
he's a candidate for the Friend Hall of Fame.

If ever he needs me,if ever indeed.
Just call me, just tell me...his call I would heed.
