And you ask....Are you ok?
copywrite 6/97 kc
Flights of emotions pass 'cross the screen,
thoughts of times of you and me,
reprieves from the Now too painful to seek,
tears fallen across distance and key,
An emptiness lurking so close to the heart,
A longing of feelings that you had impart,
Yearning the secrets held in sweet repose,
The fears we shared that no one else knows,
The passions felt through the eyes of the soul,
The sweet touch of your arms that could never grow old,
Of goodnight kisses so soft and gentle,
Of loiving endearments given sweetly and simple,
Of grins, and laughter and happy tears,
The hours spent as a shoulder to lean,
Of pounding the board, when just feeling mean,
Polemic or jest, wrapped in hours of time,
Of loving sweet memories of when you were mine.
And you ask.....Are you ok?
And I answer....I will be.... someday...
