Simply You

Just as the wind softly whispers into my ear, so did you.
Amidst all the confusion in my mind you came, and
    cared.  Not for love, but for friendship.  You are my
    king, and I your queen if you will have my love.
    Yes it's true.  Slowly, but surely, I've fallen for you.

Guiding my mind at first did you, unconsciously, I
let my heart be guided also.
    Each day I anticipate, for you will be there.
    No more do I dread the sadness of tomorrow, for
    now I can face the gloom, for you're with me.

Curiously, I feel no anxiety when I'm with you, for I 
have learned to see through you.  I feel that you
    are feeling what I feel but I could not discern it.
    Night falls, but still you do not say if you also 
    care for me.  Do you care for me?
    Only time will tell.  Words cannot express how I really 
    care for you.  You have pulled me
    out of the blue by simply being you.
