It's sad to think you've failed people;
Sadder when you make them think they've failed you.
It's frustrating when you think you love someone
Only to find out it's not true.

It's complicated once you enter a relationship
More confusing than the lines of your palm
It's more simple to break someone's heart 
Without a conscience, without any qualm.

How can you break someone you might not have?
It's like answering a person who doesn't have a question.
Why is it so hard to love someone on your own?
I guess you won't know you want him without anyone suggesting.

Why are there so many questions without any answers;
Answers without questions?  Maybe we're just asking the wrong people.
Life is one big question I guess you cannot answer.
You know it's not hard, but it's never that simple.
Nothing ever is.
