                   What the heart says


   I say "Hello, how are you tonight"
               My heart says "God, its great to hear your voice again"

   I say "Did you have a good day"
               My heart says "Did you think of me today"

   I say "I missed you today" 
               My heart says "My life is empty without you"

   I say "I thought of you today"
              My heart says "You are the reason I keep beating"

   I say "I am looking forward to seeing you, soon"
              My heart says "I need you, now"

   I say "I care for you"
              My heart says "I love only you"
   
   I say "Good night, I’ll talk to you tomorrow"
              My heart begs "God, Dear God, when will I be able
                               to whisper this softly and drift 
                               into blissful sleep"
