Awakening Dream

                               Awakening Dream

                             Into her arms I glide,
Forever wanting to be by her side,
Waking each morning only to find,
The world sometimes being so unkind.

                             Into her heart I soar,
                          My claws gripping the door,
Wide open now is her heart,
Stepping inside I stop and behold,
The beauty that now surrounds me,
Waking only to find life is so cold.

Into her world I must hide,
Forever wanting to be by her side,
This everlasting love to never die,
                         Awakening dream only to find,
In reality she is not mine.
