The Plaza
She stood at the edge of bridge, looking down into the plaza. Watching the
people go about their business and smiling. Smiling as he wrapped his arms
around he for the first time. His arms slipping around her waist over the
top of her crushed velvet shirt. Pulling her tight against his warm body.
She sighed and leaned into him, feeling his nose nuzzle against her chestnut
hair. She closed her eyes, blocked out everything but them, and caputured
the moment forever. Snipping it free with the scissors of her mind and
storing it in her mental scrapbook. The glorious feeling of being held by
the one she could possibly love.
He moved behind her and whispered, "Mmmm...your hair does smell good. Just
as I imagined it..."
She smiled and whispered, "Thank you darling."
