Thinking Back pt.1

Thinking back on all the thins we use to do
Looking into your eyes as you say, "I care for you"
knowing no other female has gotten that much affection from you
Me, sticking by your side, now have you saying, "I love you Boo"

Thinking of the many nights you came home drunk and high
And all I did was lay you down without a question of why
Knowing you do what you d to ease the pain in your life,
Caring for you, protecting you, as a wife.
Loving you in a way no other woman could 
Keeping you on your toes as a real woman should 

The thoughts are rapidly running through my mind
The day you and I connected is the only memory I can feel inside
That cool summer night, you followed me home
And continued after me after I told you to leave me alone
After the many of days of following me 
I gave you your big chance finally
It was the beat night I had had in a very long time
I guess that's why that memory stands out in my mind.

Even though I am in Urbana 
And you are in Chicago.

I will be home soon and you won't
