I'll Wait.....

You know that I love you
It isn't kept from view.
My gentle touch should tell
What you already know, so well...
Yes, you're right, it's true!!
I do, OH GOD, I DO love you!!!

But..you don't yet want to hear
Those words I hold so dear..
So, be still aching heart!!
Be patient, be strong, be smart!!

So, I'll wait for that glorious day
When I hear what I need you to say.
And at the moment, when  you finally do
I will quietly whisper, "I love you, too".
