It's There...In Your Eyes

Your beautiful eyes tell me more
than your sweet lips ever may,
and the softness of your touch 
reveals a greater need within.
Your tender kisses on my cool skin and
the hushed tones of your gentle timbre
betray the controlled, veiled words
that erupt hastily from your parted lips.
Your body tells me one thing, while
your actions speak to me in
another language...the one that we both
understand, for it’s the language we’ve
created together, over the course of
time, space, proximity, experience...
I prey for the day that your mouth
will speak the words that your
body, soul and mind long to tell me,
the words I need to hear, want to hear;
cascading over your lips
and through your teeth...
reaching my eager, waiting ears,
and filling my heart...completely.
