Mind in Flight

As my mind takes flight in the wind.
I dare to dream, dream of flying among the
birds and clouds.

My mind is set free for awhile as it soars
Soars among the freedom of life and love,

but then it comes back to thoughts of you,
thoughts of you holding me, thoughts of you 
looking deeply within my eyes and soul.
Thoughts of a deep love yet to be.

You have said the heart is the window to the
soul.  I have allowed you to come into that 
window and open my heart to love.

Will you cherish this love for you?
Will you be willing to allow me in your life
forever?

Do I dare allow the dreams to take me back in
flight? A flight to soar among the birds and 
you in my mind.
