The Lion and The Dove
Soft as a dove
Fierce as a lion
How do I explain this tenderness called love?
Running to the dove
Running from the lion
The dove offers kisses so soft the wind whispers it's name
The lions embrace so strong with passion untamed
Do I run to the dove, feeling an intensity like no other?
Do I run away from the lion, who can shred my heart so easily?
The conflict is growing, I don't know which way to go.
The more I know the lion and the dove, the more I know,
That they are one.
When I run from the passion of the lion, I lose the softness of the dove
I want to feel the softness of the dove
I want to feel the passion of the lion
I can't bear another rip in my heart, so how can I have both?
Please help my fear,
Take my hand,
Lead me where you can promise a love that will withstand
It must be forever
Please tell me;
Can the dove fly without me?
Can the lion survive without me?
Can I become with the lion and the dove?
Lead me, teach me,
You I will follow
Because you are the lion and the dove
