St. Valentine's Day Massacre
If all the lipsticks she
bought to entice him were
laid end to end,
she would have a rope
long enough to hang herself.
If every guilty rose he
brought to mislead her
were stripped of its thorns,
she would have enough
for Christ's crown.
If every woman's magazine she
read to learn "5 Ways to Drive Him Wild"
were piled in the back yard,
she would have a funeral pyre
suitable for lacy lingerie and satin panties.
They had so much in common, really.
She always put him first.
And so did he.
