MY TREASURE

I treasure every minute
of our friendship,
even though some things in this life time
I believe, are just not meant to be.

Still, after all this time.
Every morning upon awakening,
and then again,
just before I close my eyes to sleep,
in my prayers,
I say a deep, heartfelt
"thank you"
to God.

For His gift of ten days,
of you,
He gave to me.
It will have to last a lifetime.
